Please note, if you change your mind or are unable to pick up within 10 business days, you will be responsible to pay for shipping.

-Western Canada shipping ranges from $11-$18. Complimentary on orders $250 or more
-Eastern and northern Canada ranges from $15-$25. Complimentary on orders $250 or more
-USA ranges from $10-$40. Complimentary on orders of $300 or more.
-UK ranges from $15-$50 Complimentary on orders of $300 or more
-Australia ranges from $20-$50 Complimentary on orders of $300 or more

It depends on what type of piece you ordered.
Small batch collection pieces that are in stock take 5-7 business days to process. Post Office runs happen every Thursday. If you order on a Wednesday your order will ship the following Thursday.
Made to order pieces currently take about 8-10 weeks to be created and prepared for shipping.

Once a piece is shipped it will take the following amount of time to arrive:
-Canada from 3-10 business days
-USA from 7-21 days.
-Overseas from 10-30 business days.

Due to the increased volume Canada Post is experiencing because of the holiday season and Covid-19 I cannot guarantee the above time frames. I strongly recommend choosing a tracked option to ship your precious jewellery.
I currently ship with Canada Post. You’ll be asked to select a delivery method during checkout.
This is out of my control. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to packages being held up by customs.
I use Canada Post and have not had anyone provide any feedback about issues with this.
Returns/Exchanges
I’m sad to hear you didn't love your Scenic Route Jewellery! However, if you aren’t satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item for an exchange or refund (minus applicable fees). Please email info @ scenicroutejewellery.com with your order number and why you'd like to return it.
To request a return, please contact me within 5 days of receiving your order.
-Item(s) must be in their original and unworn/unused condition, in the original packaging
-Resized items, made to order rings, custom projects, international orders, and sale items are final sale
-All shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. Purchaser is responsible for return shipping. Tracked shipping is strongly encouraged. A refund will not be issued on items lost in transit.
-Exchanges and refunds are processed within 72 hours of receipt of your package.
I am happy to process an exchange for the proper fitting size, but all applicable shipping charges are at your expense. If your gift is eligible for exchange, I am happy to process an exchange provided it is within 7 days of purchase/gifting/delivery, it was not a sale item, it's in the original packaging and there are absolutely no indications of wear, damage, or misuse.

Materials
All of the jewellery I make in my studio is handmade with 100% recycled metals, with the exception of the delicate chains, ear wires and gold-filled sheet that I purchase from trusted sources. I primarily source my metals from Stuller, a US based SCS certified green refinery. The gemstones and diamonds are ethically sourced and often lab-grown and earth mined diamonds are conflict-free.
Sterlium Plus is a germanium-based sterling silver alloy that is tarnish resistant and maintains a bright white colour.
-European-friendly (contains no nickel)
-Grade 1 bright white metal (No rhodium plating required)
-Tarnish resistant (two-year shelf life)
-Scratch resistant
Gold-filled is a USA industry standard that legally requires 1/20th, or 5%, of the metal to be pure gold by weight. The regulated process involves pressure bonding multiple layers of solid 14K gold with extreme heat over a core of high-quality jeweller’s brass, resulting in a durable, quality real gold product.
It is an incredibly durable alternative to gold plated jewellery.

Unfortunately I cannot guarantee anything, as everyones sensitivities are unique to them. However, I do suggest picking out gold-filled or solid 14k gold pieces, as most sensitive customers love those! I'm also happy to let you know that all my jewellery is 100% nickel and lead free.

Care
Please handle your piece with care as each piece is handmade with thin, delicate chain and findings that can tarnish or tangle if mistreated. Chemicals in soaps, perfumes, hair products and lotions can be hard on precious metals and will speed up the tarnishing process!
How to show your Scenic Route Jewellery some love:
1. Remove rings and bracelets when washing your hands, doing the dishes or using lotions and sanitizer.
2. Avoid wearing your jewellery in swimming pools, hot tubs and hot springs. Showering and exercising is ok for the metal but you run the risk of breaking chains or snapping or misshaping rings with these activities.
3. When you're not wearing your jewels, keep them in a jewellery box or jewellery bag to keep them from tarnishing. Oxygen exposure accelerates the tarnishing process.

Personalized jewellery is something you can purchase through my online shop. I've made it possible for you to personalize a variety of options like your centre stone size, type of gemstone accents, metal preference and ring size for a unique take on my signature designs. However, you cannot mix and match design elements from separate rings. This is a great option if a custom ring isn't within your preferred budget.
Custom jewellery is something that is not available in my shop because it is a special experience between you and me where I create something one of kind based on your vision. The designs of my personalized rings can be a starting point, but this is a chance to get completely creative and build something memorable!

Warranty
Scenic Route Jewellery made in silver or gold-filled is warranted for 3 months from the date of shipping against any defects, like loose stones or if your jewellery arrives in less than ideal condition due to mishandling. Simply put, if I made a mistake, I'm committed to fixing it.
The warranty doesn't cover scratches, dullness of metals or stones due to normal wear and tear, or jewellery that has been stolen, lost, dropped or damaged in any other way.
Having your jewellery resized, altered or repaired by another jeweller voids the warranty.
I do a strict quality control before I package and ship every single item, and I make sure your stones and metals are at their most beautiful before being wrapped up. To claim a warranty, please email info @ scenicroutejewellery.com with a description of what happened, a photo and your order number, so I can help make it right.
