Shipping Update: Canada Post 2024 Strike Information

I want to keep you informed about how I’m handling shipping during the Canada Post 2024 strike. To make sure your handcrafted jewellery still arrives safely and on time, I’m using trusted alternative couriers, including Purolator, CanPar, and Sendle.

What This Means for You

  • Delivery Times: I’m doing my best to stick to regular delivery timelines, but there might be minor delays due to high demand on these services.
  • Tracking Information: You’ll receive tracking details from the courier managing your shipment, so you can follow your package every step of the way.
  • Shipping Costs: Some slight adjustments to shipping rates might apply because of the switch, but I’ll keep any changes as minimal as possible.
  • No Shipping to P.O. Boxes: Unfortunately, the couriers I’m using right now cannot deliver to P.O. boxes. Please provide a physical address when placing your order.

All orders from my "Small Batch" collections are processed within 5 to 7 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. My "post office run" days happen up to twice a week, typically Tuesday and/or Thursday. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 


All orders from my "Made to Order" ring collection currently take 6-8 weeks to complete. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

 

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

Calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.  

Estimates:

Western Canada ranges from $11-$18. 

Eastern and northern Canada ranges from $15-$25. 

*Complimentary on orders $250 or more

 

Local pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at  Flemish St, Kelowna. (exact address provided once order is ready) After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 4 to 5 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. 

My local pickup hours are 8:30AM- 7pm Monday to Saturday.  Please have your order confirmation number with you when you come.

I offer international shipping to the following areas: USA, UK, Europe and Australia.

Complimentary on orders of $300 or more.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination. Scenic Route Jewellery is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

 

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 21 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact me at info@scenicroutejewellery.com with your name and order number, and I will look into it for you.

 

Shipping to P.O. boxes

Because I ship with Canada Post, I am able to ship to PO Boxes. 

 

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

Please read the full return policy.

I accept returns up to 5 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and I will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. 

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at info@scenicroutejewellery.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try my best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
