Story Behind This Piece

I was stuck. The pieces I was making felt stiff — like I was trying to force something that wasn't ready to come out yet.

And then I remembered how I used to work in my early days... melting silver scraps down into little nuggets, just to see what they'd become. I went back to that. Made them bigger. Let them be imperfect. And then I picked up my engraving tools and started adding the details I'd been seeing everywhere on walks with my kids — snowdrops, grape hyacinth, tiny ferns. The flowers that only reveal themselves when you actually get close enough to look.

These pendants came out of that moment. Out of getting unstuck by going back to what felt true. That's the thing about the scenic route — sometimes the piece you needed to make was already there, waiting for you to slow down and notice it.
